Position Overview
As a Senior Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing complex, cross-functional technology projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational goals. You will collaborate with C-level executives, technical teams, and business stakeholders to bridge the gap between technical execution and strategic objectives. The ideal candidate is a seasoned techno-functional leader with strong negotiation skills, deep experience in enterprise technology projects, and the ability to drive transformation at scale.
Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Strategy
- Lead and oversee large-scale, multidisciplinary technology projects from inception to completion.
- Define project scope, objectives, milestones, and success metrics, ensuring alignment with business and technical strategies.
- Drive risk assessment, mitigation planning, and decision-making at the executive level.

Stakeholder Management & Negotiation
- Act as the primary liaison between technical teams, executive leadership, and external partners.
- Negotiate project scope, budget, and timelines with C-level stakeholders, vendors, and strategic partners.
- Influence senior executives by providing data-driven insights and recommendations.

Technical & Functional Expertise
- Apply 20+ years of techno-functional experience in areas such as software development, infrastructure, AI, cloud computing, or scientific research.
- Ensure the successful integration of technical solutions with business operations.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering and product teams.

Operational Execution & Change Management
- Implement best practices in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies for project execution.
- Oversee financial planning, resource allocation, and performance tracking.
- Drive organizational change and digital transformation by aligning technology with business needs.
Required Qualifications
✔ Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in a technical or business-related field (Computer Science, Engineering, Business, etc.).
✔ Master of Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent advanced degree.
✔ 20+ years of experience in techno-functional leadership roles, overseeing enterprise technology projects.
✔ Proven ability to negotiate at the C-suite level and drive executive alignment.
✔ Strong understanding of software development, AI, cloud computing, cybersecurity, or scientific research.
✔ Expertise in Agile, Scrum, and hybrid project management methodologies.
✔ Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
🔹 PMP, PgMP, or Agile certifications.
🔹 Experience in scientific research, healthcare, AI, or cybersecurity domains.
🔹 Prior experience in nonprofit, government, or scientific organizations.
